Swirl
Pixie currently supports over 30 graphical effects you can apply to your images. Most can be either applied to an entire image or just the area you selected with the mouse. In order to support all this, Pixie uses a plugin mechanism to dynamically load and unload effect filters. This not only keeps Pixie small for when your not doing anything but viewing images, it also makes it extremely flexible. You can simply download new filters and install them. You don't even have to restart Pixie :) Pixie comes with effect filters for both the sophisticated KDE effects engine and the ImageMagick image manipulation library.
